Your Digital Toolbox

List every tool or software your team uses on a daily or weekly basis.
Identify duplicates — tools that overlap in functionality.
Flag tools nobody has logged into for 30+ days.
Check your active subscriptions against actual usage. Cancel what you don't use.
Assign one owner per critical tool (the person responsible for access & billing).

Confirm all team members store passwords in a dedicated password manager.
Verify 2-factor authentication (2FA) is enabled on critical accounts: email, banking, hosting, CRM.
Check when you last backed up your key business data. If the answer is "never", do it today.
Audit who has admin access to your main platforms — remove access for people who no longer need it.
Confirm your SSL certificate (the padlock) is active and auto-renewing.

Test your site speed at pagespeed.web.dev — aim for a score above 80 on mobile.
Verify your site is served over HTTPS (padlock visible in the browser address bar).
Test your contact form: actually submit it and confirm you receive the notification email.
Open your homepage on a phone — check that text is readable and buttons are tappable.
Check for broken links on your main pages (use deadlinkchecker.com).

Google your company name — does your website appear as the first result?
Check your Google Business Profile is complete, with accurate hours, address, and phone.
Confirm your main target keyword appears naturally in your homepage's title and first paragraph.
Make sure every page has a unique title and a short meta description.
Check that your site has been submitted to Google Search Console and is being indexed.

Does your team know exactly who to contact for IT or digital tool issues?
Is there a documented onboarding process for new team members joining your tools?
Have you reviewed your digital budget in the last 6 months?
Do you have a clear digital goal or project planned for the next 3–6 months?
When did you last discuss your digital strategy as a leadership team?
